GIVING BACK
TO OUR COMMUNITY: we're part of the 1% solution. We recognize not all people or organizations can
afford the services of an architect. Every year we pledge our assistance
to those in our community who could benefit from our work at a reduced
fee or pro bono, as the situation demands. Please contact us if you have
a project that you would like us to consider taking on. |

FEATURED 'GREEN' PROJECT: The New American Farmhouse in Apex, North Carolina This home uses an extremely efficient ground source
heat pump to provide heating and cooling for the home. The system circulates
fluid through pipes buried in the ground at a depth where the earth's
temperature is a constant 50 degrees year round. In the winter, heat is
extracted from the earth and used to heat both the home and domestic hot
water. In the summer time, the process is reversed to air condition the
home, except instead of expelling the excess heat from inside the home
to the earth, the excess heat is expelled into the domestic hot water
tanks (which essentially gives you free hot water when the air conditioning
is running). To learn more about this system CLICK
