The mail-away portfolio began with a single printed sheet of card stock which was then cut and folded to form the 'container' for a disk containing a digital portfolio, a small booklet containing images of work and description of past experience and achievements, and a pullout 8 1/2" x 11" black and white résumé that can be photocopied and distributed to others. In the process of making the portfolio, not a single piece of paper is removed from the field of the printed image. The image is cut, scored, and folded into its final form. No glue is used in the final product: the portfolio is held together by interlocking flaps of the card stock.
