The Train
Station is one of the most public buildings in the urban environment.
Not only do the inhabitants of the city interact with the building daily,
but it also must present an appropriate image to the visitors that travel
to or pass through the city. The design of the Train
Station incorporates a landside terminal and a trackside terminal.
The landside terminal makes historic references to grand train stations
of the past with its gently curved roof, while the trackside terminal
takes on an image of technology appropriate to high-speed train travel.
