In an interview with The Seattle Times, Nazim Nice, principal architect at Motionspace Architecture + Design PLLC, highlighted a common issue in traditional Craftsman homes in Seattle: the lack of a primary bedroom suite with essential features like an attached bathroom and walk-in closet. He noted that homes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs are highly desirable. Nice explained that adding a second story is often the best way to achieve this configuration, which can enhance a home’s resale value.
