Project – Vintage Charmer


The couple hired Motionspace Architecture + Design PLLC to remodel their 1,604-square-foot home. To enhance the cramped kitchen, we removed a wall separating it from the dining room and added 21 square feet to its back. Instead of a central island, we designed peninsulas at each end of the kitchen. At the back, a Neolith counter extends to a back deck, facilitated by a Nanawall SL60 sliding/folding door system that provides easy access and weather protection, even during Seattle’s rainy winters.
