This charming 1925 home in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood underwent a renovation to blend modern convenience with classic design.
Perched atop Queen Anne in Seattle, this charming 1925 home underwent a thoughtful renovation to blend modern convenience with its classic aesthetic. The project focused on opening up the back of the house a redesigned rear yard, remodeling the kitchen and main level bathroom. By replacing an existing side porch with a small 27 SF addition, the kitchen now boasts a functional layout anchored by a stunning oak island, reminiscent of a found furniture piece. Custom cabinetry seamlessly integrates modern appliances while still lending a traditional look to the design. Beautiful details in lighting, shelf brackets, door handles, and other custom touches elevate the space. The redesigned landscaping provides low maintenance and comfort, creating a harmonious indoor-outdoor living experience.
