This Magnolia development maximized a sloped, shady lot, utilizing generous covered decks and high 10′ ceilings to enhance the sense of space in each dwelling unit.

This development project in Magnolia made the most of a sloped, shady lot with territorial views of Interbay and the Lake Washington Ship Canal.  Limited to 2,500 SF inside the house and 1,000 SF for the smaller accessory dwelling unit, the project made the most of the exceptions available, providing generous covered decks off the main living spaces and large attached garages for each unit. High 10’ ceilings on the main levels helped make the space feel as spacious as possible. Although the units are attached, they do so as little as possible and each one feels like a detached single-family residence, which is how they were sold.
